Applications paper machines

In paper production, as well as in finishing, papers and other materials are cut to the appropriate working widths from the large master roll. This longitudinal cut causes cut edge dust.  Especially when the knife quality deteriorates.

 

In the squeeze knife process, fibres and angel hairs occur. More fine dust is produced during the racer cut.  No matter how and where the cut is made, dust cannot be avoided.

 

Doyle web cleaning can significantly reduce the amount of dust. The specially developed Multimodular Direct Contact System™ enables the breakthrough of the laminar boundary layer, which occurs at the high web speeds on paper machines and which traps dust particles. Non-contact systems can break through this boundary layer with difficulty or not at all.
