Some time ago, our IR Module Dry intermediate dryer was installed at the corrugated board plant in Schneverdingen. The system is infinitely variable and each dryer cassette can be controlled individually. The production speed could be increased from 3,000 to 4,000 sheets/hour and the plant manager Mr. Dirk Sawatzki is fully satisfied with the results. 

The installation of the system went smoothly and the Smurfit Kappa team gave our technicians excellent support. 

On an existing Uteco Onyx, we were recently able to install a double-sided web cleaning 1350 mm and successfully replace the previously installed contactless system with our Multimodular technology. 

Furthermore, on a new Uteco Diamond, 3 manifolds 1350 mm ( 2 x top, 1 x bottom) were installed and successfully commissioned. 

Technical Director Mikhail Sharfanov commented on the result as follows: 

"We can state that the usage of Doyle web cleaner improved performance of the web cleaning dramatically.

When we started using 2-manifold system the number of stops decreased around 2 times. For 3-manifold system – 3 times.

Before when we were using web-cleaning system from the other supplier, average length of produced material was 57,000m before we had to stop to clean plates from dust.

With 2 manifold system we reached 112,000m and with 3 manifold system 184,000m on average."
